As an orthopaedic technician, you provide people with professional and competent orthopaedic aids. You work in direct contact with our patients and are a key contact person for them.

For our competence center at the newly established health campus in Göttingen, we are looking for you to strengthen our team in the treatment of our patients, focusing on the field of orthotics.

Responsibilities

• - You will independently conduct clinical examinations of patients in the field of orthotics

• - You will guide our patients through the entire care process – from consultation, fitting, and configuration of the assistive device, through rehabilitation, to final fitting

• - You will manufacture custom-made assistive devices for our patients

• - You will document the care provided in accordance with the Medical Device Regulation (MDR)

• - You will work closely with various departments

• - You will further develop the quality of care

• - You will support research and development projects

• - You will supervise the work of trainees and interns in the department

Profile

• - You have successfully completed your training/studies in the field of technical orthopedics and already have professional experience in this area.

• - You have sound knowledge of modern care with customized orthopedic devices

• - Knowledge of digital processes would be helpful/desirable

• - You possess manual dexterity and your communication skills are effective

• - You are flexible and a team player.

• - You have a confident and professional demeanor. You stand out through your personal commitment

• - You speak fluent German and are proficient in English
